DYNASYLAN HYDROSIL 2926 is an organosilicon compound (epoxyfunctional oligomeric siloxane) based on water as the solvent and contains no volatile organic constituents. DYNASYLAN HYDROSIL 2926 provides adhesion promotion between inorganic materials like glass, minerals and metals with organic polymers used in applications. It offers increased reliability, process flexibility and environmental protection over conventional organofunctional silanes as it has no liberation of flammable organic components and allows processing at elevated temperatures without safety issues. DYNASYLAN HYDROSIL 2926 being water-based can be used as an additive in waterborne polymer systems, making it suitable for applications where water is used as the solvent. It also helps in surface treatment of various substrates and reinforcement of glass fibers.
