BYK-A 595

BYK A 595 is an emulsion of hydrophobic solids, emulsifiers and foam-destroying polysiloxanes. BYK A 595 acts as a defoamer reducing the air content from > 10% to < 5% when used in aqueous liquid formulations. BYK A 595 can be added as early as possible to prevent foam formation already during production. It provides optimal results at usage levels between 0.05-0.5% based on the total formulation. BYK A 595 helps in producing uniform, bubble-free and aesthetically pleasing coatings with enhanced performance by eliminating entrapped air.
