DYNASYLAN 40

DYNASLYAN 40 is an ethyl silicate product used as a binder and hardening component. It has a silicon dioxide content of 40-42% upon complete hydrolysis. DYNASYLAN 40 forms polymeric SiO2 structures during storage through hydrolysis and condensation reactions. These SiO2 structures provide excellent adhesion, chemical and thermal stability to substrates. DYNASYLAN 40 can be used as a binder for sol-gel coatings applications. When used in sol-gel coatings, DYNASYLAN 40 along with organofunctional silanes forms highly scratch and abrasion resistant siloxane networks, making the coatings durable for various industries. DYNASYLAN 40 hydrolysates also serve as excellent binders for corrosion protective zinc dust paints used in infrastructure applications, extending the lifespan of materials.
