LUBRIZOL 5481

LUBRIZOL® 5481 is a semi-synthetic emulsifier system that provides good corrosion protection, hard water emulsion stability and a high degree of lubricity with exceptional wetting and cooling properties when formulated with performance additives for machining of metals. LUBRIZOL® 5481 emulsifier system forms stable micro-emulsions in typical water sources at manufacturing plants, showing good solubility and low foaming tendency. It is compatible with performance additives including extreme pressure additives and lubricity improvers.
