SIERRALITE 2000

Sierralite 2000 is a natural mineral product composed primarily of chlorite and talc with a median particle size of 11 microns. Sierralite 2000 offers exceptional whiteness and brightness properties that help deliver a clean, uniform appearance in surface applications. Its high purity mineral composition and an oil absorption value of 30 ml/100g allows Sierralite 2000 to effectively hold and suspend pigments and extenders. Sierralite 2000 also has good density and tap density values, making it easy to disperse and incorporate into formulations. These properties of Sierralite 2000 make it well-suited as a functional filler for enhancing opacity, tinting strength and hiding power in paints, coatings and other surface products.
