TYLOSE E 407003

Tylose® E 407003 is a medium viscosity hydroxypropyl methylcellulose (HPMC). Tylose® E 407003 is mainly recommended for ceramic honeycomb extrusion. It ensures excellent plasticisation of ceramic mixes and offers outstanding mechanical strength to the extruded green bodies. Prevention of cracks is additionally facilitated by the thermal gelation during the drying process. The excellent debinding behaviour of Tylose® E 407003 supports high final product quality.
